Cow's Quizzer version 1.04 is a free program for making and taking quizzes. The quizzes should be saved to the directory where the main program is installed, which should be the desktop or rather a folder on a desktop. Created quizzes may be given to others or backed up for future use. Cow's Quizzer also includes the abilities for quizzes taken to be given a grade and to use the graded quizzes to make a report. It is named "report.txt." Cow's Quizzer version 1.00 and later include the ability to encrypt the scores, quizzes accessed, quizzes created, and the date with it. All automatically. For one to be able to read these encyrpted materials, he would need to ask for a Cow's Decoder, companion software and a registration code. These are, at this time free, though they must be asked for individually. They may not be free in the future. Version 1.04 has added new features (since 0.6), such as: * Greater runtime error prevention * Overwrite protection for your quizzes * Option to begin a report from the secondary menu * More than 90 new lines of possible responses to the user's grade * A cleaner look and a more friendly main prompt * Answers do not so often trail off the side of the screen * Option to quit making or taking a quiz after just choosing to do so from the main prompt. (This does not work once one has gotten two past the main prompt.) * Numbered questions for the quiz taker * Timed pauses after the the answer is checked (longer pauses for incorrect answers) * Random answers (Up to 100 answers) * Random questions (Up to 3000 questions) * Fill in the Blank questions * Hidden code words from the main menu such as the 'Menu' command that clears the screen and pulls up the secondary menu. * Cow's Decoder Compliant Cow's Quizzer 1.04 updated from 1.03: A report could generate a wrong average score. This was corrected... I hope. Hints: If you want a line to be by itself, open the quiz file as a text file and put some spaces next to it. Remember to capitalize correctly when you enter your Fill in the Blank questions. Warnings: This program may appear at some point to have graphical corruption/distortion while running, simply resize the window. If the uninstalled version is burned onto a CD, the program may not run properly, due to its I/O nature. If the program is accessed via links the quizzes may not be saved with the main program but possibly in other places such as the main drive or in the Windows folder. *************************************************************************** Cow's Test Formatter (CTF) version 0.3a is a program for formatting or creating tests for a school setting. Once made these tests can be transferred to another program for editing, (however they can be saved in a *.doc file to begin with, or a *.wpd). The test formatter allows for several kinds of questions to be placed on a test. While many sections of a particular kind can be put on the test, only once will the user have the chance to determine whether or not he/she wants a particular section on his/her test. The special feature with this program is the ability of the user to adjust the directions for particular sections. The first time this program is run. Those directions will be created in a file where this program resides. They may be altered as noted. Upgrade from 3.0 *Overwrite test protection Warnings: This program may appear at some point to have graphical corruption/distortion while running, simply resize the window. If the uninstalled version is burned onto a CD, the program may not run properly, due to its I/O nature. Using this program with shortcuts may result in the temporary inability of the user to find certain files that have been saved or altered. ****************************************************************************** Cow's Bible Study Program is a simple program for creating a sort of a calendar for reading certain pages of one's Bible. It asks at most three questions regarding one's Bible and then responds by making the list. If any distortion occurs, simply resize the window.
